Dr. Martin Valach and Prof. Drahoslav Lančarič from Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra actively contributed to the panel discussion during the European Commission webinar “Lump Sum Funding in Horizon Europe: How does it work? How to write a proposal?”
Building on the implementation experience of INVEST4EXCELLENCE, they presented key takeaways and repeatable good practices in lump sum projects: plan the lump sum budget in detail from the proposal stage, shift from cost evidence to outputs, strengthen internal roles and coordination early, use one shared collaboration system, and keep communication and meetings short and action-oriented.
